NavalArch Group provides marine design and engineering services, software development, maritime technology products, and educational programs (collectively, "Services"). The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are agreed upon separately in writing between NavalArch Group and the client prior to commencement of work.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not: • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems • Use the Site to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content • Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the Site without prior written consent from NavalArch Group • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Site
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of NavalArch Group or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing on the Site grants you a licence to use any intellectual property of NavalArch Group without express written permission. Deliverables produced under a service agreement are governed by the intellectual property terms specified in that agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, NavalArch Group retains ownership of all methodologies, tools, and background IP used in delivering the Services.
5. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Services, and to use such information solely for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation survives termination of any service agreement for a period of three (3) years.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NavalArch Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the Services. Our total liability in connection with any service engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NavalArch Group, its founders, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites for reference or convenience. NavalArch Group does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party sites. Accessing such links is at your own risk.
9. Payment & Cancellation
Payment terms for service engagements are set out in individual proposals or agreements. Unless otherwise agreed: • Invoices are due within 30 days of issue • Cancellation of an engagement after work has commenced may result in charges for work completed to date • Disputes regarding invoices must be raised in writing within 14 days of receipt
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Changes to These Terms
NavalArch Group reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
